Management and Clinical Assessment

Our evaluations assess an operator’s operational, clinical and risk management practices in accordance with Fannie and Freddie requirements. Combining the clinical/risk assessment with appraisal maximizes efficiency, minimizes operator disruption and affords our clients the most cost effective and timely solution in the market.

There is no substitute for hands on experience. HealthTrust’s Management and Clinical Assessment (MACA) program provides lenders, investors, developers, and operators with a comprehensive, independent evaluation to support due diligence, investment, and operating decisions. Our team of experienced industry professionals possess decades of in-facility operations and clinical experience enabling us to ask the right questions and provide our clients with practical operating intelligence that goes well beyond typical financial review and cursory facility tour.

The standard MACA engagement involves a pre-site visit questionnaire followed by a thorough on-site assessment. Clients can customize the program to focus on specific areas of concern or select our standard assessment tool and comprehensive reporting package. MACA meets all Fannie and Freddie requirements and is suitable for assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and CCRC assets.

MACA delves deep into an operator’s management practices to assess risk by examining regulatory compliance and survey history, clinical policies and procedures, employment practices, operating system utilization, licensure adherence, MDS, QAPI, resident satisfaction and many other operating areas affecting your investment.
